Who we are

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, eduagentskit.online, and messages you send to our contact email. It does not cover:

  • GitHub (including the EduAgentsKit organization and the edu-agents repository), which is governed by GitHub’s own privacy terms.
  • The AI tool you use with the kit, which is governed by that tool provider’s privacy terms.
  • Any other website we link to.

Information we collect

Information you choose to send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if included), and whatever you write. Please don’t include student information.

Technical information from hosting. Like most websites, the servers that host this site may automatically record basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. What we don’t collect. This website doesn’t use analytics tools, advertising tools, tracking pixels, or cookies [TBD: owner confirmation (Q-LEGAL-6)], and has no forms or user accounts. Fonts and other assets are served from our own site rather than third-party services [TBD: confirm at build (Q-LEGAL-6)].

How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

  • reply to your messages;
  • understand and fix problems you report, and improve the project;
  • keep the website running and secure (hosting logs).

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising. [TBD: legal review (Q-LEGAL-4)]

When information is shared

We don’t share your information except:

  • with service providers that help us run the website or email [TBD: hosting provider, email provider (Q-LEGAL-5)], only as needed to provide those services;

If you report something on GitHub instead of by email, it’s public and governed by GitHub’s terms.

The kit and your AI tool

EduAgentsKit (the kit) is a set of plain-text instruction files that you copy onto your own computer. It has no server and no accounts, and it doesn’t send any information to us. When you use it, you run it inside an AI tool you choose. What you type is handled by that tool and its provider, not by us or this website. The kit is designed so you don’t need to enter any student data. Please review your AI tool’s privacy terms and your school’s policies before use.

Children and student data

This website is intended for teachers and other adults. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child or student’s information has been sent to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.

How long we keep information

Your choices
